We enjoyed our stay with five adult kids, especially the cozy vibe of our room. The large shower was a hit after our daily adventures in Kingussie.
For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly dining options nearby.

It did what it said on the tin but I still think the price was a bit on the high side - I thought I had signed up for a budet deal but was charged normal standard single room - in a hurry to get to my appointment so did not query. The staff were lovely

I liked that The Star Hotel is in central of town which is near atm, takeaway and pubs.
Service is alright, We don't get very welcome on the arrival. Staff look like they cant be bother with us or even do their job. When we arrive, there is receptionist missing. Barman dont have a clue what to do but we said we are happy to wait in bar until receptionist turn up. Its was very odd environment. Even we spoke to local people. They telling us that we are mad to stay at hotel.

The Superior King Room wasvery comfy and tidy, providing good value for money. The dated decor and limited breakfast hours were drawbacks that could use improvement. It's a reasonable option for a single night's stay but might not suit everyone.

No lift room and bathroom was quite small no shower would have preferred a douvet rather than blankets.

The cozy vibe of our room was perfect after exploring the Cairngorms and the local wildlife park. Breakfast was delicious and offered great value! Definitely try the made-to-order dishes, and don't miss the inviting lounge area for some relaxing moments after a day out!
I did experience a curfew issue that was a bit annoying. Arriving late at night wasn't ideal with restrictions on access that left me feeling frustrated.

Just a fitting option for a little getaway in Kingussie with great value-to-price ratio. The lounge bar had a vintage feel, almost like being in an old movie. Check out the local area for better dining options.
